Join the generous individuals, corporations and foundations that ensure Classics for Kids artistic and financial stability.  Classics for Kids is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to educating children about classical music through professional orchestra concerts and programs. 

Where does Classics for Kids get the money…

• To provide music and arts-based learning programs for 20,000-30,000 children per year?
• To bring music and arts into classrooms across San Diego?
• To make it possible for a 8-year old to hear live music for the first time ever?

Less than half of Classics for Kids operating costs come from ticket sales.  For the rest, we must rely upon our generous donors- people who contribute between $25 and $2,000 a year.  (Those who are able to give more- from $2,000 up to $25,000 are invited to become Sponsors of Classics for Kids).

Contributions enable Classics for Kids to present outstanding educations programs that deliver lessons from the stage and in the classroom. Our programs include concerts at professional theatres around San Diego County, offer standards-based lesson plans to teachers, docent visits through a partnership with the Advocates for Classical Music, and to nurture new audiences through our extensive education program.

All contributions are tax deductible.  In addition, many corporations match charitable contributions, which can double the size of your gift.
