Going Green
April 2008

Get ready for Earth Day '08. The CLASSICS PHILHARMONIC orchestra celebrates the sights and sounds of nature in a concert featuring Saint-Saens' young audience favorite Carnival of the Animals and other beautiful and descriptive music about the world around us. We can't think of a better way to fight global warming than by performing 100% natural music.

Symphony Sleuths
January 2008
Join the Symphony Sleuths and the CLASSICS PHILHARMONIC orchestra as they solve the mystery of the missing musicians! It's 1772, the scene is Prince Nicholas of Esterhazy's Summer Castle and composer Joseph Haydn's musicians have disappeared. Using clues from the music and key witness interviews... can the sleuths find the musicians in time? (This program is based on an actual historical event.)

Music in Motion
November 2007

The instruments of the orchestra take on a life of their own as the CLASSICS PHILHARMONIC and guest dancers from the City Ballet of San Diego perform exciting classical favorites by Vivaldi, Bernstein, Tchaikovsky, and more. Join the fun as the brass and all their attitude take on the goofy reeds, pompous strings and boisterous percussion as they vie for the attention of our young audiences.
