Music lessons: Concert takes kids back to nature
Classics 4 Kids is “Going Green” with a family concert tomorrow at the Balboa Theatre, outside Horton Plaza at 868 Fourth Ave. With Earth Day near, the classical music program will celebrate the sights and sounds of nature.

While I was on a Youth kick, I caught a morning performance of an abridged version of The Magic Flute, collaboration between San Diego City Ballet and Classics for Kids. The piece was created (and choreographed by Elizabeth Wistrich) in 2001, but it was perfect for the 2006 year-long San Diego celebration of Mozart’s 250th birthday...
